The Family Cooking course is designed for cooks who have mastered the basics and are ready to take on new recipes and expand their knowledge of good wholesome family dishes. We have designed the course fit for the entire family and informal dining at home.
 

Participants will cook the meals themselves, under trainer supervision. This ensures better retention of recipes.
Small groups guarantee best learning results.

Requirements:
This course is suitable for cooks who want to improve their repertoire of dishes, who have some experience of cooking; as well as for advanced cooks. Students should understand English and should be able to read basic recipes.

 

Lesson 1
Homemade fishcakes / Beef burgers in a bun with homemade chips / Pot roast chicken with thyme & mushrooms in a creamy sauce
Lesson 2
Apple Crumble and homemade custard / Chicken Goujons with homemade tomatosauce
Lesson 3
Sweet and sour chicken / Egg Fried Rice (with ham and peas) / Cottage Pie (minced beef with mashed potato topping)
Lesson 4
Snapper with a parsley, lime and caper crust with buttery mashed potatoes / Beef Strogonoff with rice
Lesson 5
Puff pastry tart with a creamy pesto base and fresh tomato and basil topping / "bangers and mash²"(oven roasted sausages, mashed potatoes, caramelised onion rings and a mushroom sauce)
